The Bride's Farewell, by Meg Rosoff

This was the first Meg Rosoff book i had read since How I Live Now. and I guess the subject matter/genre being so different had me setting my expectations really low for some reason. I see now that this was dumb! She won a Printz, after all!

I wanted it to be longer! What did other people think? (for every comment posted here, Online Book Club participants earn five points!)

I am finding this book difficult to stop reading to cook dinner, go to sleep, etc! It is one of those books that takes the reader far away from today and this place. So much is going on in this story that is not written on the pages. Really have to put on my thinking cap! Seriously, I like what I am learning, and am enjoying the story line. Can't wait to see how it ends. I will definitely read other books by Meg Rosoff. Anybody else liking this book?
